BMC authorities in Mumbai recently refused to relieve Bihar SP Vinay Tiwari from quarantine. Reacting to the same, Vinay in a recent interaction said that BMC’s move is unfair and unfortunate and that they are denying him of his legal rights to investigate as he is unable to go for investigation since August 2. Furthermore, Vinay added that he is in touch with the Bihar Government and they have been exploring all the options to release him. Reportedly, he also said that due to all these their investigation has been hampered. For the unversed, BMC has sent a letter to Bihar Government refusing to relieve Bihar SP Vinay Tiwari from quarantine and have even asked the Bihar officials to investigate the case through a digital platform. Followed by which, the Bihar government has decided to move to court to challenge BMC’s refusal to let Vinay Tiwari out of the quarantine facility. Reportedly, they might most likely approach the apex court for the same.
