While interacting with the media recently, Aamir spilled the beans on Ira’s first play. She directed a play titled Euripides Medea that starred Hazel Keech.
He was all praise for Ira’s skills and dedication. Aamir shared, “Ira when she made Medea, I thought it was quite good. It was definitely a very difficult subject to pick in theatre about a mother who kills her own children. Quite a dark one. But good attempt. I thought she did a good job in her first play.”
Meanwhile, Aamir will be reuniting with Kareena Kapoor Khan for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The film was supposed to release last year, but it was postponed due to the pandemic. It is an official remake of the Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump‘ starring Tom Hanks. The Hindi adaptation also stars Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in key roles. It is helmed by Advait Chandan. The film will be clashing with Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’.
