District Administration in collaboration with the Tribal Affairs Department of Jammu and Kashmir has started smart classrooms for the students of the Gujjars and Bakerwal community at some government schools of Kulgam in South Kashmir. Under this smart classroom, students are being taught about the latest trends in the education sector. To provide education on modern lines, the government started an ambitious project of transforming 200 schools into smart schools. The tribal students lauded this step taken by the Central Government and Jammu and Kashmir administrations with the potential to transform the lives of Tribal communities across Kashmir.
