ashish: Accounts signal Teni’s son was at crime spot: Chargesheet | India News – Times of India

BAREILLY: With the SIT probe into the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case still on, circumstantial evidence, as per the 5,000-page chargesheet produced before the CJM court recently, seems to suggest that Union minister Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish was at the crime scene on October 3, reports Kanwardeep Singh.
A photographer covering a wrestling event, which Ashish and his aides were supposed to have been at on October 3, revealed he didn’t have any pictures of Ashish at the sporting venue between 2. 03pm and 4. 03pm, the exact time when the violence erupted in Tikunia.
Then, as per the chargesheet, a cop at the wrestling venue submitted that “Ashish was angry after a few men came in a car which was vandalised by farmers. He angrily left the venue alongwith his aides”.
An additional SP from Sitapur said he saw three vehicles, Thar, Scorpio and Fortuner, “briskly moving towards protest site and mowing down farmers”. He said, “Accused in cars ran away while firing. ”
