‘Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva’ Hindi added Rs 3.75 crore to its total in its fourth weekend and the film’s total collection now stands at Rs 223.50 crore nett. However, the total business of ‘Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva’ Hindi is less than that of ‘The Kashmir Files’, which had earned Rs 246 crore nett at the end of its theatrical run. According to Boxofficeindia, the total collection of ‘Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva’, in all formats, stands at a whopping Rs 247 crore nett.
Acknowledging the success of ‘Brahmastra’, Ranbir Kapoor had previously shared, “I feel the overwhelming love from the audience for the film is the biggest Brahmastra we have. I am extremely happy and proud, for receiving these reactions. I really want to say thank you to every fan and viewer from the bottom of my heart. I think, this is a great movie to bring the audience back to cinemas. This is all we needed. People with displaying their emotions, getting entertained, laughing and clapping – this is what cinema is all about.” Ayan Mukerji has already started work on the film’s sequel, which is reportedly titled ‘Brahmastra: Part 2 – Dev’. Buzz is that Hrithik Roshan has been approached to play the lead in this film, but there has been no confirmation about the same.
