A CBI team from Delhi reached CBI office in Goa on Sep 16 to take over the death case of Sonali Phogat. The case was transferred to CBI after the file was submitted to the Central agency through the Union Home Ministry on Sep 12. Goa Police had earlier arrested 2 of her associates who ‘forcefully drugged her’. BJP leader and actor Sonali Phogat was declared dead at a Goa Hospital in Anjuna on August 23.
