Oppo has opened the ColorOS 13 beta test to a wider audience. So far the company has been testing it internally within a limited group. The ColorOS 13 beta will be available for select Oppo smartphones.
The ColorOS 13 beta will be initially available for Oppo Find X, Find X5 and Find X5 Pro users. Along with that, OnePlus 10 Pro users can also participate in beta testing, but only in China. Make no mistake here, OnePlus phones are not coming with ColorOS as the company confirmed at its recent event.
On Oppo devices, the ColorOS 13 beta is available in Australia, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE and Vietnam. Hopefully, other regions will be added soon. So far, India is not on the list, but is likely to be added soon.
How to enroll into ColorOS 13 beta testing
Head to Settings → About device → Trial versions and enter all the necessary details to apply for the beta program. Once the application is accepted, the ColorOS 13 beta will become available for your smartphone.
You can then simply download the update and install it on your smartphone. Also, don’t forget to take a complete backup of your smartphone. In case something goes wrong with the process, your data will be safe.
Another thing you should know about installing beta software on your smartphone is that they are buggy and in some cases, they can completely brick your smartphone. Also, some apps and features may not work properly.
