Garmin Venu 2 Plus smartwatch with voice-calling functionality launched in India: Price, features and more – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Garmin Venu 2 Plus smartwatch is now official in India. Garmin Venu 2 Plus is the first smartwatch of the company to come with integrated voice-calling functionality and hands-free voice assistance. The company unveiled the smartwatch for the first time at CES 2022 earlier this month.
Garmin Venu 2 Plus sports an AMOLED display and 25 built-in sport applications. The device can be used with the Garmin Connect app that offers customisable workouts. The wearable comes with a water-resistant design and battery backup of up to 9 days.
Price and availability
Garmin Venu 2 Plus is priced at Rs 46,990 and it comes in Graphite Black, Cream Gold and Powder Grey colour options. The smartwatch is available online on Amazon.in, Flipkart, Tata CLiQ , Tata Luxury and synergizer.co.in online and GBS stores, Helios, Just in Time and Croma.
Garmin Venu 2 Plus features
Garmin Venu 2 Plus comes with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with 416×416 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartwatch comes with voice calling functionality. The smartwatch enables users to make calls directly from the device.
The wearable also comes with voice assistance features that enable users to respond to texts and ask questions. Users can also control compatible smart home devices using the smartwatch. The device also offers a robust suite of health and fitness.
Garmin Venu 2 Plus comes with a heart rate sensor and SpO2 monitor. The device offers safety and tracking features like automatic incident detection (during outdoor walks, runs or rides) and manually triggered assistance alerts, both of which send a message with the user’s location to their emergency contacts.
The smartwatch promises to offer 9 days of battery backup in the smartwatch mode and the battery backup gets reduced to 24 hours in the GPS mode. The wearable comes with fast charging support and 10 minutes of charge promise to offer 1 day of battery backup.
