google doodle: Google wants you to follow these steps to stop the spread of coronavirus – Times of India

Technology giant Google has created a special doodle encouraging people to wear masks amid the coronavirus pandemic. All letters of Google can be seen wearing masks in today’s doodle. When clicked on, the doodle takes one to a Covid-19 prevention page that lists out steps one can take to prevent the spread of the virus.
The same have been shared by the official Twitter handle of Google India. “Wear a mask…Save lives….As COVID-19 continues to impact the nation, help stop the spread by following these steps: https://goo.gle/3fy65i8,” reads the Twitter post.

“Wear a face cover…Wash your hands…Keep a safe distance,” reads the Google webpage. It also shares preventive measures that one can take. These steps are

  • Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
  • Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  • Wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible.
  • Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Stay home if you feel unwell.
