Ishaan Khatter feels typical formula Bollywood films don’t work anymore; says audience’s taste in films have changed – Times of India

Ishaan Khatter is slowly but steadily making his way up the success ladder in Bollywood with his choices of films and performances. He recently spoke about the changing taste of audiences when it comes to films.

Talking about the same, Ishaan told a news portal that the viewing habits of people have changed. According to him, a lot of people are watching films on streaming platforms as opposed to stepping out into theatres. The actor added that people are making choices, and that’s something actors have to learn. He also stated that it would be difficult to guess which films people would prefer to watch at home, rather than on the big screen.

Elaborating further, Ishaan added that there was a notion that there’s a certain formula that works. That has now been thwarted. According to him, the best bet is to follow your gut creatively and to try and make a good film. People should focus on making a good film, the actor told The Hindu.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ishaan will next be seen in ‘Pippa’. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan among others.
