The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) made history by successfully launching Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. SSLV carried two satellites- Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-02) and AzaadiSAT- into a 356km orbit on its maiden flight.
