Kartik Aaryan to be paid Rs 10 crore for the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’? – Times of India

Kartik Aaryan is in demand and how! With Bollywood debating about pay cuts and slashing fees due to the losses incurred because of the pandemic, here’s a Bollywood actor who is all set to change the rules. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Kartik Aaryan will reportedly be paid more than Rs 10 crore for his next film. The venture in question is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. The film will be directed by Varun Dhawan’s brother Rohit Dhawan and will be produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’, wherein he romanced his ex-flame Sara Ali Khan. Before the health scare, Kartik had been busy shooting for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in Lucknow. Directed by Anees Bazmee, this film horror comedy is a sequel to Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan starrer 2007 hit ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. Kiara Advani essays the leading lady opposite Kartik in this flick.

Apart from ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, Kartik will also be seen in Karan Johar produced ‘Dostana 2’, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya. He will also experiment with the action genre as Kartik has signed up for a film with Om Raut, who had called the shots for ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’.
