KEAM 2020: First phase allotment to architecture and second phase allotment to engineering/pharmacy seats begin – Times of India

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The activities related to the second phase of allotment to Engineering, Pharmacy Courses and first phase of allotment to Architecture courses in institutions in the state for the year 2020 began on Monday.

In this phase, allotment will be done to the newly included courses in Engineering colleges and to the newly included Pharmacy colleges. Eligible candidates may submit new options to the newly included courses and colleges. They can also rearrange the existing options. The facility will be available on the website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee.kerala.gov.in through the candidate portal from 12.10.2020 to 14.10.2020, 5.00 PM.

As per the agreement signed by the Government and Self-financing Engineering/Architecture colleges, certain seats have been fixed as community/registered society/registered trust quota seats in some colleges. Those candidates who wish to get allotment in the community/registered society/registered trust quota seats should submit options to the concerned seats in respective colleges through the website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee.kerala.gov.in within the stipulated time.

Online Option Confirmation is mandatory for Engineering/ Pharmacy courses

Candidates who want their higher order options in Engineering/Pharmacy courses to be considered in the second phase of allotment shall have to log into their Home Page and confirm their options by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button available therein. After Online Option Confirmation, the candidates can re-arrange their higher order options or delete the unwanted options and also register fresh options to the newly added Courses/Colleges from 12.10.2020 to 14.10.2020, 5.00 PM, through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

Those who do not confirm their options online will not be considered for the second phase allotment and also their higher order options in Engineering/ Pharmacy streams will not be available in the subsequent phases. If a candidate doesn’t confirm his/her options the existing allotment shall be retained as per the first phase allotment. Online Option Confirmation is mandatory for being considered in the second phase of allotment for both candidates allotted with a course in the first phase and those who have not received any allotment in the first phase including SC/ST/OEC and other candidates eligible for fee concession.

On the basis of options received up to 5.00 PM on 14.10.2020, the second phase allotment to Engineering, and Pharmacy courses and first phase allotment to Architecture course will be published in the evening on 16.10.2020. Candidates who receive allotment in the second phase shall have to take a printout of their second phase allotment memo and remit the fee/ balance fee (if any) payable at any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by way of Online Payment on any date from 17.10.2020 to 23.10.2020, 4.00 pm. Post Offices having facility for fee payment is available in the website. After remitting the fee/balance fee, the candidates should join the course/college allotted before 4.00 pm on 23.10.2020.
