KK Singh’s second marriage was not acceptable to Sushant Singh Rajput: Sanjay Raut claims – Times of India

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut gave a new twist to the Sushant Singh Rajput case when he alleged that KK Singh’s second marriage was “not acceptable” to the late actor.

In a write-up on the ‘Saamana’, the party’s mouthpiece, Raut questioned the actor’s relationship with his family and even asked why he split from former flame Ankita Lokhande. Stating that his former girlfriend should also be a part of the probe, he said that it was “wrong to see the unfortunate suicide from a political angle.”

Hinting that Sushant shared a strained relationship with his father, he said, “His father’s second marriage was not acceptable to him (Rajput). Let the facts come out how many times Rajput visited his family in Patna. Why did (Rajput’s former girlfriend) Ankita Lokhande split from Rajput and this should be part of the probe. It is wrong to see the unfortunate suicide from a political angle.”

However, in reports, the actor’s uncle dismissed the claims stating that Sushant’s father did not marry again and that the politician was “misinformed”.

Sushant’s mother passed away in 2002. It must be noted that his last social media post was a dedication of love to his mother. He shared her photo and penned words of love that read, “Blurred past evaporating from teardrops. Unending dreams carving an arc of smile. And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two… #माँ”

Raut also claimed that Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian, who died by alleged suicide or accidental death a week before the actor, was also being maligned.

Claiming that “pressure tactics” were being used in this high profile case he also alleged that the issue was being politicised as part of a conspiracy against Maharashtra.

Describing Mumbai Police as the “best investigating agency in the world” and a professional force, he said, “It investigated the Sheena Bora murder case where some top names were involved and sent all to jail. The Mumbai Police probed the 26/11 terror attack which resulted in the hanging of the accused Ajmal Kasab,” the Rajya Sabha member said.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) recently took over the probe in the case, based on a Patna police FIR related to alleged criminal conspiracy and abetment to suicide against Rajput’s girlfriend and actor Rhea Chakraborty. Sharing his views on the same, he alleged that the Centre’s “interference” in Rajput’s case was an insult of the Mumbai Police, and claimed that, adding the CBI may be a central agency, but it “wasn’t independent and impartial”.
