Manoj Bajpayee, who was part of the grand jury, that selected the 75 creative minds of tomorrow, will also be present at the occasion. This year, it is for the first time that OTT participation took place at IFFI. Bajpayee, one of the most popular faces on OTT, and his team from the show The Family Man, including director duo Raj and DK and co-star Samantha, had participated in a Masterclass interaction with cine enthusiasts.
Prasoon Joshi, who won Indian Personality Of The Year, will be receiving the award during the closing ceremony with Randhir Kapoor also being present at the occasion.
IFFI 52 featured 148 films from about 73 countries in the International Section. The festival had 12 world premieres, about 7 international premieres, 26 Asia premieres and about 64 India premieres. IFFI received 624 films from 95 countries this time, up from 69 countries in the previous edition.
