Moto G72 smartphone with 108MP camera, 5000mAh battery launched: Price, launch offers and more – Times of India

Moto G72 is here. Motorola has expanded its G-series of smartphones with the launch of Moto G72 in India. The mid-range smartphone sports an FHD+ display and is powered by a MediaTek chipset. The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system and houses a 5000mAh battery.
Price and availability
Moto G72 comes with a price tag of Rs 18,999 and it can be purchased in Meteorite Black and Polar Blue colour options. The smartphone will be available online on Flipkart starting October 12.
As part of the launch offers the company is giving an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on select banks. Along with this, buyers can also avail extra discounts of Rs 3,000 on exchange and benefits worth Rs 5,049 from Reliance Jio, Myntra and Zee5.
Moto G72 specifications
Moto G72 comes with a 6.55-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2460 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and comes with HDR10+ support.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The device packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card.
Moto G72 runs Android 12 operating system. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will receive one OS update and 3 years of security updates. The dual SIM smartphone features a triple rear camera with 108MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
There’s also a 16MP front camera for selfies.
Moto G72 comes with IP52 rating which makes it splash-resistant. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W Turbo charging support.
