Post Liger, Puri is planning to release quite a few films in Hindi. Speaking to a news portal, he shared that being a die-hard cinema lover, his films are often inspired by stories he grew up reading. While he says, Liger is his career-best film, he is hoping to work with more Hindi film stars.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Puri confessed that it’s his dream to make Hindi films and that he already has a script ready for Salman Khan. The filmmaker revealed that he has been trying to make a film with him since the release of Wanted. He loves Salman and his hoping to get the chance to direct him one day. On a closing note, he shared, that he wants to work with Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan. “I love all the Khan’s, but I want to do a film with Salman sir,” he shared.
Liger portrays Vijay Deverakonda as a kickboxer with a stutter. The actor underwent a massive physical transformation. He also trained in martial arts from Thailand-based stunt choreographers. The film also stars Mike Tyson in a pivotal role.
