From best friends to now Mr and Mrs, actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have made us all believe in a ‘truly made-for each other’ kind of love with their old school love story. After dating each other for 11 years, the couple embarked upon a new journey of life as husband and wife on November 15th in Chandigarh. Their wedding was an intimate ceremony with only close friends and family members in attendance. Now to celebrate their union and share their happiness with friends, the couple is sending out boxes of sweets along with personalised notes to friends who they couldn’t invite to their wedding. Among those who received the special sweets box was fashion designer Masaba Gupta. Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a glimpse of the box and captioned it as, ‘Two lovely people coming together. Congratulations’. In the picture, the sweet box can be seen stuffed with shaadi ka ladoo with a note by the newlywed couple which read, ‘We did it! We are thrilled to let you know, we finally tied the knot after eleven years of being best friends in a beautiful ceremony in Chandigarh. Since circumstances didn’t allow us to be with you on our special day, here’s a little something to celebrate the momentous occasion! All our love, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar’. Meanwhile, even after days of getting married, pictures and videos from their pre-wedding festivities to the wedding to post wedding are ruling social media. Recently, Rajkummar shared a couple of pictures from the wedding wherein he could be seen dancing with her wifey ‘like there is no tomorrow.’ Earlier, while announcing their marriage both Rajkummar and Patralekhaa took to their respective Instagram handles and dropped pictures from their big day. While Rajkummar wrote, ‘there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond’, his wifey penned a heartfelt note saying, ‘I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate…My best friend for the last 11 years!’
