Airtel has entered the home surveillance solution — XSafe — in India. The all-new XSafe has launched in 40 cities across India. Customers can pick from a variety of WiFi-based smart cameras, providing users with a 360-degree view of their premises from anywhere. Prices of these cameras start at Rs 2499. The subscription service is Rs 999 per year. The Airtel’s service takes on a similar service launched by Tata Play in association with Google earlier this year. Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal has sent a mail to users about the new home security solution. Here’s the email:
Dear Customer,
As the country returns to normalcy post-COVID, we have all started spending a lot more time outside our homes. Many of you have told us that you are often worried about the well-being of a loved one when you are not physically present-be it an older parent, a young child, or even an adorable pet.
This is why we are launching Airtel Xsafe for you. Airtel Xsafe is an easy-to-operate, end-to-end home surveillance solution that will help you keep an eye on your loved ones, wherever you are. So you have complete peace of mind.
The three powerful benefits that we offer as a part of the Airtel Xsafe solution
State of the Art Cameras: We offer a range of Wi-Fi enabled, high-tech cameras that will allow you to monitor both indoor and outdoor areas of your home anytime. For outdoor purposes, we have an all-weather-proof camera that gives you a perfect view of the balcony, entrance, and approach to your home. For indoor purposes, we offer two state-of-the-art cameras that give you a 360-degree view of the room where the camera is installed. You can get a clear picture of your home even at night because our cameras come equipped with colour night vision and active defense spotlight features. As a bonus, if you want to talk with your loved ones, you can do that because our cameras have a built-in mic and speakers. Finally, all our cameras are automatically able to detect any motion.
Airtel Xsafe, our AI-powered app: Through the Airtel Xsafe app, you can keep an eye on your loved ones, giving you complete peace of mind. The app is powered by artificial intelligence that has been specially created for you. Real-time alerts are delivered to the app based on any unexpected or suspicious movement. So you don’t have to go through the full day’s feed but just focus on what matters. In case you miss a notification, you can simply retrieve the video at any time through the app using our secure cloud storage. Needless to say, our solution is end-to-end encrypted, ensuring complete privacy for you and your family.
The Airtel support that we provide: Finally, the moment you place an order, our experts talk to you and advise you on where the cameras should ideally be placed; our teams then install the cameras with minimal wiring and you are now entitled to after-sales support.
How can you get Airtel Xsafe?
We are now available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and 30 other cities in India. Click here, to request a free consultation and our experts will then get into action.
Our Airtel Xsafe solution is currently available on a prepaid model where you buy the cameras upfront and then pay an annual subscription of Rs.999 to enable all the smart features. In our beta testing with some of you, we received feedback to also include a post-paid option where your subscription can simply be added on as a monthly recurring charge to your existing bill. This feature will be launched shortly.
I look forward to any suggestions or feedback that you may have and thank you for giving us the privilege to serve you.
