Realme may expand its smart wearable range in the country soon. The company’s smart band Realme Band 2 has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS) website.
Realme entered the smart band product category in 2020 with the launch of Realme Band. The fitness band has a 0.96-inch TFT LCD screen and offers features like a heart-rate sensor, sleep quality monitor and idle alert.
As per the BIS website, Realme Band 2 will carry the model number RMW2010. It, however, does not reveal any specs of the fitness band. But, the upcoming device has been subject to leaks and rumours which gives us a hint of its features and specs.
Realme Band 2 is expected to offer Bluetooth version 5.2 for wireless connectivity. It is rumoured to come with a bigger screen than its predecessor Realme Band. The fitness band may offer a 1.4-inch touch display, giving users more screen to work on.
Also, the Realme Band 2 is said to have a thicker body than Realme Band. Its likely dimensions are 45.9 x 26.6 x 12.1mm. Other features that may be available on the smart band are multiple watch faces, a heart-rate sensor, different sports modes and an oximeter.
Meanwhile, the company is scheduled to launch Realme GT series in India on August 18. The company is expected to launch Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition smartphones. Realme GT was launched in China earlier this year. It comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor and offers an AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The series is likely to offer mid-range smartphones with high-end features.
