Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 with blood pressure, ECG monitor launched – Times of India

Along with the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Z Fold 2, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Watch3 with new health and fitness features. The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 comes in 41mm and 45mm sizes in Black, Silver and Bronze colour options. There are both metal and leather band options.
The Galaxy Watch 3 runs Tizen-based Wearable OS 5.5 and comes with a range of features. It is among the few smartwatches that offer the ability to monitor blood pressure, blood oxygen level and ECG. Having said that the availability of these features depend on local government rules and health policies.
Powered by a dual-core Exynos 9110 processor, the Watch 3 has 1GB of RAm and 8GB of internal storage. Both the models feature a Super AMOLED Always-on display with 360 x 360 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Dx. The Watch 3 models boast of all-day battery life and are 5ATM water resistant with IP68 and military standard 810G rating.
Health features also include Fall Detection like in the Apple Watch 4 and above along with sleep management. The Galaxy Watch 3 offers all popular exercise tracking modes including running, swimming, walking and more.
Other features like Running Analysis caim to help users run better, improve form and prevent injuries, while VO2 max follows cardio progress to provide insight into oxygen consumption. Also, Samsung Health provides more than 120 different home training programs.
