Sherlock Holmes: Sherlock Holmes Chapter One gets a release date, preorder gets you a free game – Times of India

Frogwares’ action-adventure game Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has got a release date. The sleuthing game, in which you play as the younger version of the fictional detective himself, will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and Gog.com) on November 16. The release date for PS4 and Xbox One has not been announced yet. The base game is priced at Rs 2,299 and the Deluxe Edition comes at Rs 2,999.
The Deluxe Edition comes with extra quests for you to solve. These include Beyond a Joke quest, M for Mystery questline, Saints and Sinners quest and Mycroft’s Pride questline.
The game will have 5 main quests. As per the developers, it could take about 12-15 hours to complete the main story. All have different outcomes. Apart from the main quest, the game will have 30 side quests. Most of the side quests will have different outcomes.
One of the main quests in the game deals with Sherlock investigating the death of his mother Violet Holmes in the island of Cordona.
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One: Preorder benefits
The preorders for the game have also gone live. Those who preorder the game will get a free digital copy of Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments on the same platform they ordered Chapter One on, so it is a bonus game for you at no cost at all. Also, all preorders will receive the Victorian Starter Pack which comes with a special quest titled “The Lead Zeppelin”, a unique Consulting Detective and The Victorian Vampire in-game outfits and 500 Manghirs (the currency of Cordona Island). The currency can be used to purchase items to customise your look in the game.

The Sherlock Holmes in this game can buy new outfits or find some to facilitate mingling with social groups and gain access to cordoned-off spaces. The items include full outfits, hats, glasses etc. He can also apply bruises, wrinkles, change facial hair etc.
