Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her mother Sunanda to be questioned by Lucknow Police in alleged fraud case in the name of a wellness centre | Hindi Movie News – Bollywood – Times of India

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s problems do not seem to be ending any soon. Already going through a hard time after the arrest of her husband Raj Kundra in the pornography case, now a team of Lucknow Police has reached Mumbai to question the actress and her mother Sunanda in an alleged fraud case in the name of a wellness centre. After two FIRs were registered at Hazratganj and Vibhutikhand police stations in Lucknow, the police started its probe in both the cases. Notably, the arrest is also possible if they are both found involved in the case. Well, Shilpa Shetty runs a fitness chain named and while she is the chairman of this company, her mother Sunanda is the director. A couple of residents of Lucknow had filed a case for cheating and alleged that Shilpa Shetty and her mother took crores of rupees from them in the name of opening a branch of the wellness center, but the promise was not fulfilled. In an interview, the investigation officer in the case has said that as the matter is high-profile, the police are closely investigating and examining all the points carefully. On the other hand, with the arrest of her husband and businessman Raj Kundra in the pornography case, Shilpa Shetty Kundra has also come under the scanner of the Crime Branch. Earlier while revealing that no solid evidence of the actress’ involvement has been found as of yet, a source has told ETimes, ‘The reason Shilpa has come under the scanner is that she resigned from the director’s position at Viaan Industries’. However, in her statement to the Mumbai Police, she has reportedly denied any involvement in the case and claimed that she was not aware of the exact content of the controversial app in question on which the adult content was being published.
