It has also been revealed that the BMC Commissioner has written to Bihar IG, stating that they are only following the government of India guidelines for quarantining domestic flyers for 14 days. The letter also stated that they are in no way preventing the officer from doing his duties but politely advising him to use IT platforms.

Speaking to Times Now exclusively about the quarantine, Vinay reportedly said that BMC’s move is unfair and unfortunate. He also added that they are denying him of his legal rights to investigate. The Supreme Court had also reportedly disapproved the quarantine move by Maharashtra government and tagged it as “not a good signal”.
