According to reports, a team of five officers visited Rai’s residence, late Wednesday night. However, the purpose of the visit is still unknown and there is no confirmation if the visit was in connection to the ongoing probe into the death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Disha reportedly managed Rajput for a while, during her stint as a celebrity manager with a talent agency. The news of Salian’s death came just a week before the untimely demise of the Bollywood actor.
It was reported that Salian fell from her high-rise apartment. The police had registered a case of accidental death and began their investigations to rule out any possibility of foul play, while also asking people with information to come forward.
While various conspiracies have been doing the rounds linking Salian’s death to SSR’s demise, her parents have rubbished all such reports and even went the legal route by asking police to take action against those spreading rumours and defaming their daughter.
Following the complaint by the Salian family, the Malwani police registered a defamation case against three people – identified as actor Punit Vashishtha, YouTuber Naman Sharma and director Sandeep Malani – for allegedly posting defamatory content on social media regarding Disha’s death.
Meanwhile, in a fresh development in the SSR death case, the CBI is likely to wrap up its probe soon and submit a closure report. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the CBI, which has been probing the death of the ‘Kedarnath’ actor, is likely to submit its closure report of the case to a CBI court in Bihar within a few days.
