Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh files a counter affidavit before Supreme Court against Rhea Chakraborty’s plea – Times of India

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, the actress has urged the Supreme Court to transfer the probe to Mumbai. While the court is all set to hear the plea on August 11, Sushant’s father has now filed a counter-affidavit against her plea.
According to the latest report in ANI, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh had filed a counter-affidavit before Supreme Court stating the investigation in the FIR has already been transferred to CBI and thus Rhea Chakraborty’s plea seeking transfer of probe to Mumbai stands infructuous.

According to Times Now, in his response to the petition filed by Rhea, Sushant’s father alleges that prime suspect Rhea has influenced key witness Siddharth Pithani. He also questioned how the mail sent to Mumbai Police by Siddharth Pithani where he complained against Bihar Police got into Rhea’s hands. It has also been alleged that the mail sent by Siddharth Pithani was after Bihar Police had filed FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and on the eve of the actress moving Supreme Court with her petition.

The FIR lodged with Rajiv Nagar police station under various sections of IPC including 306 (abetment of suicide), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 380 (theft in dwelling house), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).

KK Singh has named Rhea along with five others for exploiting Sushant and pushing him to take an extreme step. The actress was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate yesterday where she was questioned for over eight hours along with his brother and ex-manager.

Sushant’s case has now been taken over by the CBI which has started the registration of the case and will be taking the help of Bihar and Mumbai police as a part of their pan India investigation.
