Sushant Singh Rajput’s relative says Rhea Chakraborty should not run away from probe if she is innocent – Times of India

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, all eyes are now on the actress. Rhea was also missing from her Mumbai house when Bihar police came to the city to carry on a parallel investigation.

Talking about the same, a relative of Sushant, Niraj Kumar Singh Babloo told ANI, “Rhea Chakraborty should not run away from probe if she is innocent. She should produce evidence for the same. We are demanding an unbiased investigation into the case. No culprits should be spared.”

Recently, Rhea was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate today. Earlier, she had requested the ED for a postponement until the Supreme Court hearing. However, ED rejected her request. Lending a clarification on the same, her lawyer, advocate Satish Maneshinde issued a statement that read, “Rhea Chakraborty is a law-abiding citizen. In view of the fact that ED has informed the media that the request to postpone the attendance is rejected … she has appeared in the ED at the appointed time and date.”

Rhea has been called in by the ED to record her statement in connection to her major property investments made in Mumbai. They have summoned Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani and his former business manager for the same.

After much ado, the late actor’s case has finally been transferred to the CBI. They have now started the registration process in the case and will also be seen coordinating with Bihar and Mumbai police on the same.

Sushant Singh Rajput was seen hanging in his Mumbai apartment in mysterious circumstances on June 14.
