8.21 am: Students can submit a grievance form if they have any complaints over their marks
If students have any complaints over their marks, they can submit the form through their schools. Students need to submit these forms from August 17 to 25. The forms can be obtained from the DGE’s website www.dge.tn.gov.in and processed.

The Tamil Nadu SSLC result 2020 will be announced by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu today at 9.30 am.
Once the result is announced, students will have to login with their hall ticket number and date of birth to check their scores.
This year, the Tamil Nadu Board had to scrap the class 10 examinations due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. Since the board did not conduct the final exams, the assessment was done on the basis of candidates’ performance in quarterly and half-yearly exams. Students will be awarded 80% weightage for half-yearly and quarterly exam marks, and 20% weightage for attendance.
Every year, the Tamil Nadu Board announces SSLC results in April. However, this year the SSLC result got delayed due to the pandemic. Last year the directorate of government examinations, Tamil Nadu had declared the SSLC results on April 29. The passing percentage of TN SSLC result 2019 was 94.50%.
