The Malayalam film industry seems to be taking a different route in the coming years by delivering the audience with complete commercial films rather than realistic and feel-good drama movies. Joju George starrer ‘Peace’ is definitely aiming to entertain a mass audience and the recently released trailer for the movie promises to offer thrills and chills.‘Peace’ trailer posits that the film will have several thrilling sequences and will have a ‘Breaking Bad’ touch to it. Billed as a social satire film stacked with thriller elements, ‘Peace’ is all set to hit the big screens on August 19 and will be released in four languages including Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Telugu. ‘Peace’ tells the story of a delivery partner named Carlos and some of the twisted events that unfold around him. From the trailer, it can be also assumed that ‘Peace’ will have several unrelated characters and events that get connected as the story progresses. It will be after a long time that the actress Remya Nambeesan will be seen playing a female lead role in a Malayalam movie. Helmed by the scientist-turned-filmmaker Sanfeer K, ‘Peace’ is bankrolled by Joju George and Thayaparan. The story is written by the director Sanfeer himself and the screenplay by Sanal and Ramesh Girija. Jubair Muhammed is roped in as the music composer and the editing section will be handled by Noufal Abdullah. Shameer Gibran cranks the lens for Joju George’s thriller. ‘Peace’ has an ensemble cast. Actors Joju George, Siddique, Remya Nambeeshan, Aditi Ravi, Asha Sarath, Mamukkoya, Anil Nedumangad and Shalu Rahim will be seen playing major roles in the film ‘Peace’.
