Videos of hundreds of people dressed up as UK prime minister Boris Johnson, protesting outside London’s No 10 Downing Street, have gone viral. ‘The Boris’s’ were seen singing ‘My name is Boris’ and opening cans of beer and bottles of wine. The protests are being held to condemn Boris Johnson’s multiple parties, held at Downing Street during the pandemic’s first wave in April 2020 and more recently when the whole country was in mourning at the death of Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, a day before his funeral. So far, Boris Johson’s office has issued an apology to Buckingham Palace for two separate drinking parties held during the lockdown of 2020. Now, the prime minister is facing widespread calls for his resignation, both from the people and members of his own party.
