The Chinese smartphone maker confirmed the launch of the new smartphone via a tweet. The company tweeted, “Redmi K IsBack”. It is speculated that Xaiomi may launch the Redmi K50i smartphone in the country. The same smartphone was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website recently.
Redmi K50i expected specifications
Redmi K50i is said to sport a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate and up to 650 nits of brightness. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.
Redmi K50i is expected to feature a triple rear camera with 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. Front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
Redmi K50i is rumoured to run Android 12 operating system and pack 128GB internal storage. The smartphone is also said to come with microSD card support. The upcoming Redmi K-series smartphone is speculated to house a 5,080 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
