According to reports, the special screening of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ organised for the army officers in Delhi was attended by more than 200 members of the Indian Army which reportedly included the Senior Ranking Officers, Young Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and Jawans.
Aamir Khan, Atul Kulkarni, Advait Chandan, Ajit Andhare, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh also marked their presence at the do. It was reportedly extra special for Mona as there were members of her father’s regiment also present during the screening.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official Indian adaptation of the classic Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’. The original movie starred Tom Hanks in the lead role. The Hindi remake also features Kareena Kapoor Khan in a key role. It has hit the theatres today, on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The Aamir Khan starrer has locked horns with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Raksha Bandhan’ which has also released in the theatres today.
