Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth drops Dhanush’s name from her Instagram account – Times of India

Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth has changed her name on social media. After her separation from her ex-husband Dhanush, she has now changed her Instagram handle name to Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth from Aishwaryaa R Dhanush.

Fans reacted to this, stating that they are heartbroken, but also added in their comments that they understand her choice of her relationship.

Aishwaryaa and Dhanush announced their separation on January 17, 2022. Taking it to their respective social media handles, the couple shared a similar note stating that they are going separate ways. Dhanush’s note read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this. Om Namashivaaya! Spread love, D.”

The couple got married in 2004 and was together for 18 years. They are parents for two sons Yatra and Linga. Though the couple has parted ways, they are still on good terms. Aishwaryaa recently released her multilingual music video and Dhanush took to Twitter to wish her as his friend. He wrote, “Congrats my friend @ash_r_dhanush on your music video #payani. God Bless.”
