Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday will arrive in Jammu and Kashmir on his three-day visit to the union territory. This will be his first visit to the Valley since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. Amit Shah will chair a security review meeting at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar at 12.30pm. He will also hold an interaction with members of Jammu and Kashmir’s Youth Clubs at 4.45pm. Amit Shah will inaugurate the first direct international flight between Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar and Sharjah in UAE. HM will inaugurate the flight at 6 pm. Ahead of the home minister’s visit to the union territory, several traffic restrictions have been imposed in Srinagar including those driving two-wheelers subjected to intensive security checks.
