Apple launches new Magic accessories in India: Prices and other details – Times of India

Apple has rolled out all-new Magic accessories designed for Mac range of devices. The new products include new Magic Keyboards, Mouse and Trackpads. Most of the accessories were introduced when Apple had launched the all-new M1 powered iMac in April. However, now the devices can be purchased standalone and here’s what you need to know about them.
Magic Keyboards: Three new keyboards
Apple’s new Magic Keyboard — introduced with the 24-inch M1 iMac this year — is now available to buy as a standalone device. The new models come with TouchID and also a numeric keypad.
There are three keyboards — one without Touch ID, which ist’s also wireless and rechargeable. Apple claims that it has a long-lasting internal battery that will power your keyboard for about a month or more between charges. This Magic Keyboard is priced at Rs 7,500.
The Magic Keyboard with TouchID is a compact keyboard that has new keys for Spotlight, Dictation, and Do Not Disturb. The keyboard is priced at Rs 14,500.
The Magic Keyboard with TouchID and numeric keypad features an extended layout, with document navigation controls for quick scrolling and full-size arrow keys, which are great for gaming, says Apple. The keyboard is priced at Rs 17,500.
Do note that the TouchID on the keyboards will only work when they are paired with an M1 Mac. For Intel-based Macs, the keyboards are compatible with work as traditional Bluetooth keyboards.
Magic Trackpad
The Magic Trackpad gets a slightly refined shape and it goes quite well with the new Magic Keyboard. It features a full range of Multi-Touch gestures and Force Touch technology. The Magic Trackpad is priced at Rs 12,500.
Magic Mouse
Apple’s rather unique looking Magic Mouse has a multi-touch surface that allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents. The Magic Mouse is priced at Rs 7,500.
Also, all of the new Magic accessories from Apple now include a USB-C to Lightning Cable, for quick pairing and charging by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac. Previously, Magic accessories had a Lightning to USB Cable for connecting to a USB-A port.
