The smartwatch is likely to be called Apple Watch SE 2. As per rumours, the smartwatch may come with features like an always-on display, ECG support and blood oxygen monitor. It is also expected to come with an updated design, though details on this front are yet not known.
Apple is also rumoured to bring additional features to the Watch SE 2. These may include those related to health and fitness management.
The iPhone maker is also expected to bring a rugged variant of the Apple Watch SE 2. The model will specifically be aimed towards athletes and is said to come with more resistance to scratches, dents and falls.
In related news, Apple is said to be working on an AR/VR headset and is reportedly developing one of the most advanced chips for the device. A new report has now claimed that the yet-to-be-announced headset will focus on gaming, media consumption and communication. In the latest edition of the ‘Power On’ newsletter, Mark Gurman said that gaming should be a strong focus of the headset. According to the report, Apple’s first mixed reality headset will be a Mac, iPhone, or iPad replacement. It will have two processors, one with the same level of computing power as M1 along with a lower-end chip to handle input from different sensors.
