Aryan Khan drugs case: Sam D’Souza claims threat to life; lawyer says he will appear before the SIT | Hindi Movie News – Bollywood – Times of India

Sanville Adrian Dsouza, aka Sam D’Souza, whose name cropped up in the infamous cruise drug case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, is now making the news for neither appearing before the Mumbai Police Special Investigation Team, nor at the Narcotics Control Bureau office. Now, his lawyer, in a conversation with a news channel, has claimed that there is a life threat to Sam D’Souza and his family members. He said that ‘Sam D’Souza has already given a complaint in writing to the police and other agencies that there could be a threat to his life. He has named the people as well.’ Further, while not willing to divulge many details, his lawyer has maintained that despite a threat to life, his client Sam D’Souza will appear before the SIT and cooperate with the agencies. He also revealed that Sam D’Souza and his family members have been receiving threat calls for some time now, and hence, his family too is scared. He also stressed out that KP Gosavi, Sunil Patil, and Prabhakar Sail are the real conspirators who implicated Sam. In the conversation, his lawyer has also stated that after it was known that KP Gosavi was a fraud, Sam D’Souza had tried to disassociate himself from the matter and even confronted Sunil Patil for landing him in trouble. Earlier, Sam D’Souza has reportedly written to the Mumbai Police Commissioner seeking protection, claiming a threat to his life and family. His name cropped in the case after NCB’s independent witness, Prabhakar Sail, claimed that he had heard NCB witness K P Gosavi and Sam D’Souza discussing a pay-off deal of Rs 25 crore after Aryan Khan got arrested. Post this, Sam D’Souza even approached the Bombay High Court seeking pre-arrest bail, claiming that he was falsely implicated and alleged that Gosavi and Prabhakar Sail were the ‘main conspirators and frauds’, but the court rejected his application. Aryan Khan got arrested by the NCB, along with his friend Arbaaz Merchant and model Munmum Dhamecha, on October 3, after conducting a raid on a ship and seized banned substances.
