Asus Zenfone 9 to launch today: How to watch launch event, expected price, features and more – Times of India

Asus is all set to expand its Zenfone series lineup with the launch of Asus Zenfone 9 today (July 28) in the Indian market. The smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 chipset.
The upcoming smartphone was spotted on a Norwegian e-commerce website which revealed the price, specs and images of the Asus Zenfone 9.

Asus Zenfone 9 launch event will take place today at 9 am in New York, 3 pm in Berlin and 9 pm in Taipei. The smartphone will launch in India at 6:30 pm. The event can be live streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel.

Asus Zenfone 9 is expected to sport a 5.92-inch AMOLED display (1080×2400 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate further protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ SoC chipset coupled with 16GB RAM.
Asus Zenfone is rumoured to house a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera with an IMX368 sensor. The camera is said to record videos in 8K resolutions.
The smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 chipset. The handset may come in three storage variants– 8GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 16GB RAM+256GB storage.
The upcoming smartphone from Asus is expected to be equipped with a USB-C port along with a 4300mAh battery capacity supported by a 30W charger.
Asus Zenfone 9 may come in four colour variants– Midnight Black, Starry Blue, Moonlight White and Sunset Red.
