Touted to be a comical ride on love and humour, the film is based on a middle-aged couple, essayed by Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar who take the plunge. Their unusual marital setting comes with lots of secrets between the husband and wife as the film touches upon the concept of ‘lavender marriage’ making it a must-watch.

Helmed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, the film is the sequel of Ayushmaan Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s ‘Badhaai Ho’. In the film, Rajkummar will play the role of a cop in a mahila police thana. On the other hand, Bhumi will be seen as a PT teacher.
Previously, the makers of the film had dropped new posters featuring Raj and Bhumi as the groom and the bride, covering each other’s mouth with quirky expressions.

‘Badhaai Do’ will also star Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, Shashi Bhushan and others, besides Raj and Bhumi in the lead. The film will release in theatres on 11
