Despite the devastating second wave of Covid-19 cases in April and May and a second lockdown, Delhi recorded a 19.1% rise in sale of personal cars in 2021 and an overall growth of 8.1% in vehicle registration last year, including an impressive 53.4% growth in sale of commercial transport vehicles. Interestingly, while car sales saw growth, two-wheeler sales recorded a dip for the second year in a row.
