‘Chup’, ‘Dhokha’ record a huge drop in collection on Day 4 – Times of India

R Balki’s ‘Chup’ witnessed a downward trend in collection on Monday. After a decent first weekend, the film earned only Ra 75 lakhs nett on its fourth day at the box office. The low ticket prices for National Cinema Day won’t add majorly to the film’s total. At the end of its first week, ‘Chup is expected to earn a total of Rs 9.50 crore nett, reports Boxofficeindia. The thrilled had started opened off with a promising figure of Rs 2.85 crore nett and currently stands at a total of Rs 7.75 crore nett.

Dhokha – Round D Corner fell badly on Monday with just 15 lakhs nett and the first week will get to around 2.75 crore nett. The collections of Dhokha – Round D Corner are as follows. R. Madhavan, Aparshakti Khurana and Darshan Kumar starrer ‘Dhokha – Round D Corner’ recorded a huge drop as it earned just Rs 15 lakhs nett. At the end of its first week the film is expected to rake in a total of Rs 2.75 crore nett. While Nepali film ‘Prem Geet 3’ has managed to rake in around Rs 35 lakhs nett till now.

This Friday, box office is looking at two big entertainers. Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’ and Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan I’ are ready to hit the screens on September 30. Both these films are expected to give massive competition to last Friday releases.
