Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Rajeev Chandrasekhar addressed a press briefing on April 19. While addressing the press briefing, I&B Minister Anurag Thakur informed that in the upcoming Parliamentary session, Cinematograph Act 2023 will be brought. He shared that the Cinematograph Act 2023 has been drafted to ensure that the content doesn’t suffer due to piracy. He said, “Today, the cabinet has approved that in the upcoming Parliamentary Session, Cinematograph Act 2023 will be brought…To ensure that the content doesn’t suffer due to piracy, Cinematograph Act 2023 has been drafted.”
