Core sector output contracts for 7th consecutive month | Business – Times of India Videos

The output of 8 core infrastructure sectors contracted for the 7th consecutive month. The output dropped by 0.8% in September. The fall was mainly due to decline in production of crude oil, natural gas, refinery products and cement. The decline in output during the month under review was lowest since March. Barring coal, electricity and steel, all sectors recorded negative growth in September 2020.
