Pravin Tarde’s directorial ‘Dharmaveer’ based on the life of Shiv Sena political leader from Thane district, Anand Dighe, collected Rs 2.05 crore on the first day of its release.
The film recorded a rise of (21.46) in the collection as it raked in Rs 3 crore nett on Sunday. According to reports, the overall collection of ‘Dharmaveerj’ at the box office in the past three days has been Rs 9.59 crore nett.
The film has opened to a good start. Cities like Thane, Kalyan, Dombivali, Pune, Nashik and Mumbai are the major players in the collections. The film was screened in more than 400 theatres and had around 10,000 shows.
In the film, Prasad Oak plays the role of Anand Dighe. He received a lot of appreciation and love from the audience for his look as a late political leader.
Helmed by Pravin Tarde, the film is produced by Mangesh Dessai.
