Vikrant Massey, who turned a year older today on April 3, took to his Instagram handle last night to share a sneak peek into his pre-birthday gift from none other than his ‘Chhapaak’ director Meghna Gulzar.

In one of the pictures was a handwritten note that read, ‘Dear Vikrant, This was long overdue. But I’m glad I got it done today! Wishing you a beautiful Birthday and a blessed year ahead! Love, Meghna.’

The second picture was that of the gift itself. It was a pair of juttis worn by the legendary Gulzar. Vikrant shared the picture of the juttis and wrote, ‘Gulzar sahaab ki pehni hui jutti…kya saubhaagya paaya hai.’

Ahead of his birthday, the actor returned to Mumbai from Gujarat where he was shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Gaslight’. The actor will be seen sharing the screen space with none other than Sara Ali Khan for the first time. Apart from this, he also has ‘Forensic’ co-starring Radhika Apte.

On the personal front, the actor got hitched to his longtime girlfriend Sheetal Thakur this year in an intimate and traditional wedding ceremony with only their close friends and family in attendance.
