Farhan Akhtar and wife Shibani Dandekar make their first appearance after marriage; newlyweds distribute sweets to shutterbugs – Pics – Times of India

Farhan Akhtar made his first appearance with his wife Shibani Dandekar post their marriage. Looking every bit like royalty, the couple stepped out in colour coordinated traditional outfits as they posed for photos together.

While Farhan rocked a silk kurta and jacket, Shibani looked divine in a pink sheer saree that she accessorised with diamond jewellery. The beauty also showed off her stunning engagement ring and diamond wedding band.

After the photocall, the couple was seen distributing sweets to all the shutterbugs present at the venue.

Farhan on Saturday took the plunge with Shibani in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends in Khandala. The duo finally got hitched after dating for more than four years.

For the big day, Frahan sported a black tuxedo with a matching bow while Dandekar rocked an off-shoulder red with a matching veil.

The wedding was attended by Farhan and Dandekar’s friends from the industry, including actors Hrithik Roshan, Saqib Saleem, Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Farah Khan, Farhan’s sister Zoya Akhtar, music composers Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa among others.

This is Farhan’s second marriage. The actor and director was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani. The duo, who divorced each other after 16 years of marriage, have two daughters- Shakya and Akira.
