forza: Forza Motorsport coming to Xbox in 2023: What to expect – Times of India

Forza is a widely popular gaming title in Microsoft’s portfolio. There are several iterations of Forza that come out regularly. However, Forza Motorsport hadn’t been upgraded since 2017. At the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase 2022 event, Microsoft revealed that Forza Motorsport is coming to Xbox in 2023.

New tracks coming to Forza Motorsport

Microsoft unveiled a trailer of Forza Motorsport, showcasing a revamped Maple Valley, a popular racing track that has been part of the game since 2005.
Further, the trailer gave a glimpse into other tracks like Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Laguna Seca Raceway. Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, a South African track will be making its Forza Motorsport debut. Also, the all-new Circuit Hakone set in Japan, an original, high-speed Grand Prix circuit will also be part of Forza Motorsport.
Other new features
Microsoft says that Forza Motorsport “has been built from the ground up to showcase the Xbox Series X|S consoles.” Microsoft said that it has added a new dynamic time of day, advanced car damage, and real-time ray tracing on track leading to making the gaming experience more immersive. “The all-new Forza Motorsport is the most technically advanced racing game ever made,” claimed Microsoft.
Forza Motorsport in its new avatar claims to bring tracks to life in more detail. New features like tire and fuel management, multiple tire compounds, and new in-depth car building to create the ultimate racing playset will also be introduced.
In the upcoming Forza Motorsport, car damage is reproduced down to the individual scratches on the bodywork. There are all-new simulation details in the directionality of damage, how the paint peels away at exposed and raised edges, in the wheel abrasions, and in the dirt build-up
