Here’s how big the Apple Watch 8 Pro could be – Times of India

A pair of images of smartwatch protective cases for the Apple Watch 8 Pro and the Watch Series 8 and 7, have appeared online on Twitter via tipster Sonny Dickson. The images show two colour options of the protective cases for the Watch 8 Pro and the Watch Series 8/Series 7. First, there are two transparent cases, one for the 49mm size of the Apple Watch 8 Pro, and the other for the 45mm case for both the new Apple Watch Series 8 and last year’s Apple Watch Series 7.
The other image showcases three protective cases in Black colour—49 mm for the Watch 8 Pro and 45mm and 41mm for Series 7 and Series 8 both.

Bloomberg’s tech journalist Mark Gurman earlier claimed that the Apple Watch 8 Pro will feature a five to seven per cent bigger display than the current Apple Watch models. Going by these leaks, we can assume that the overall size of the upcoming Apple Watch 8 Pro is going to be larger than 45mm.
He’d also added that the watch would come in a new, more durable titanium casing, with the shape of the device being “an evolution of the current rectangular shape.” So, it is not going to be circular but Gurman added that it is also not going to have “those rumoured flat sides”. The latest images of the watch cases also point towards the Watch 8 Pro display being slightly rectangular, more or less, with curved sides.
As for the casing, Gurman predicts that Apple would employ “a more durable formulation of titanium to make it extra rugged”. Plus, he also added that “the upcoming Apple Watch release is shaping up to be one of the company’s more exciting product launches this year.”
Tipster ShrimpApplePro had earlier claimed that Apple was working on a “flat front glass display” for a certain model in the Apple Watch Series 8.
