Homegrown lifestyle-video app Trell becomes official partner of Chennai Super Kings – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Lifestyle-content-commerce platform Trell, has partnered with Chennai Super Kings for its digital mandate. Trell will now handle CSK’s digital mandate for the 13th edition of IPL, which is being held in the UAE.
With this association, Trell gears up to bring the offline enthusiasm of fans online, with engaging and entertaining community driven activities. Users will enjoy exclusive player stories, behind-the-scenes moments and many other fan favourite bytes during the event.
“More than 60% of the audience on Trell comprises regional cricketing fans,” said Pulkit Agrawal, co-founder, Trell. “Whenever there is a cricket tournament, we experience a massive surge in user activity, with fans posting a variety of videos to celebrate cricket. Since fans can’t meet their cricket idols offline the platform is also giving them an opportunity to meet CSK team players online. Trell has more than 75 million downloads on its platform, with 15.4% of its total users from Tamil Nadu.
