They have sung the spin-off well and the ‘Rangeela’ song ‘Yai Re’ continues to enthrall people even now. We caught up with both its latest singers- Honey Singh and Iulia Vantur- at Mumbai’s Sun-n-Sand hotel in Juhu, on Tuesday night for an EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW. Both were in a very chirpy mood, but interestingly they were candid too- something so uncommon with the celebrities who get into interactions these days.

So, to begin with, Honey ne bol hi diya, upon prodding that ‘he is the best’. That was a fun moment and it should be taken in the right spirit. But what came as a very praiseworthy moment was when he dwelt upon his mental health issues. “I was on 200 mg (tablet dose) earlier; it’s now 5 mg.”

Honey Yo Yo Singh (as he is fondly called) also spoke about his separation from his wife (as to how he bounced back with something that had apparently hurt him). Honey told us as to who/what had helped him to recoup and rejuvenate.

Iulia Vantur, on the other hand, said that Salman Khan‘s emotional support to her has made her feel very safe and secure in the industry.

Both shed sufficient light on the song ‘Yai Re’ spin-off- its conception, rehearsals and making.
